Sunday Afternoon Set-Up
If you are in the area a little early, we'll be setting up the furniture at Val Benoit from 4:00pm on Sunday 29th. Please come help out and meet up with friends while supporting the community. Add your name to the volunteer roster now. Head over to the evening social with your new and old friends following this. Sunday Evening Social - 29th SeptThe OCA will treat you to a few nibbles, a couple of drinks and a good time to catch up with friends. We suggest eating dinner before you come - the OCA package with the bar provides nibbles only - portions of cheese and cold cuts to share, nachos, chips, olives, mixed vegetables - it is not a full meal! You'll need to get that elsewhere. They will have an allergen list ready for those with dietary requirements but as this is just a small bite to munch on they can't cater to all dietary needs - there is a good selection of beer, wine and soft drinks. You can use cash or card to purchase more drinks should you require more over the 2 provided by the OCA. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE COMING ON SUNDAY EVENING

Code Sprint
Due to the feedback given last year, we have a smaller sprint area for those wanting to sprint (but this is not the focus this year) and also a quiet room in the building for those that need a more peaceful spot to code. Before leaving home:Pack an extension cord and power multi-board - if you want power, you need to be able to connect. BYO Make sure you have an up-to-date clone of Odoo and of all the OCA repositories you plan to work on. In the maintainer-tools repository, you will find a clone-everything script which can help make clones of all the OCA repositories. Enable Travis builds on your forks of the OCA repositories. As Travis will end up loaded and the version for FLOSS has an organization-wide concurrent build limit, by doing this you will get builds of your forks which are likely to be faster than the builds of the PRs and merges on the OCA repositories. Make sure you have signed and sent your CLA - https://odoo-community.org/page/cla we won’t have physical copies with us for people to sign, please send them through.
Monday Night Social
We are looking forward to having you stay and play after a busy day. The OCA is providing a couple of drinks, a hamburger, a boulet if you would like one and fries at will. You can purchase extra drinks as you go if you would like more on top of the 2 provided by the OCA. We've got a band to liven things up after dinner. We can't wait to relax with our community. |
