GraphQL is the hottest new technology for building APIs, sometimes touted as a better REST. This practical talk aims at explaining what GraphQL is and how it can help expose an elegant and flexible API for advanced business applications in record time. Real code examples will be shown, based on the Graphene library and Odoo Community. A short comparison of GraphQL with other familiar "RPC" technologies such as SOAP and REST will be provided, as well as a discussion of strengths, weaknesses and potential pitfalls.

How to kickstart your local community with OCA's help.

The goal of this discussion is to show document_quick_access module and the best approach to use on a production system.

With this module, you are able to access directly your invoices from a physical invoices without accessing any menus, you just need to press Alt + Shit + Q and to scan the QR on the invoice with a Barcode Reader.

Also, if you print the QR with the printer_zpl, stick to your document and scan it, the scanner could send it to odoo and odoo will read the QR and assign the document to its record. No manual job is required to attach vendor invoices, purchase orders, signed mandates, etc.
