Open Upgrade is the most prominent community approach to migrate from Odoo from version to version. However, contribution to the tool is very centred among a few heavy contributors.

The OCA board has unanimously agreed that having a professional, well documented migration tool early after or with newer version releases is a strategic priority.

Therefore, we have already started the conversation with the core contributors on how to facilitate the OpenUpgrade development, but we also need you, the long tail ;-) of the community to guide our process.
